Arche Nebra "Sky Disc" Museum, Wangen

In 1999, a bronze disc found on the Mittelberg (central hill) in Wangen near the town of Nebra caused a sensation among historians. For this reason, Wangen, located in the southern part of Saxony-Anhalt, opened the Arche Nebra multimedia visitor center at the foot of the Mittelberg. Since 2007, visitors to the center have been transported back more than 3600 years into our past.

For the futuristic structure, our very own (earthbound) "sky disc," a recessed "Wittenberg” spotlight, was used. Additional spotlights from Mawa Design were installed in the foyer and in the house café.
