Handel House Museum, Halle

On the occasion of the 250th anniversary of George Frideric Handel’s death, Mawa Design is more musical than ever.

Halle, the city of Handel’s birth, in the federal state of Saxony-Anhalt, celebrated this occasion with a special exhibition in the home where he was born. On the 250th anniversary of his death, a festive celebration opened the exhibit, entitled “HANDEL – the European,” on April 14th, 2009.

The architecture office of Gerhards & Glücker planned a spectacular exhibition concept and hired Mawa Design to build and install the entire lighting for this exhibit.

Eleven different lighting types and a total of more than 150 custom lights made of Corian° were manufactured by Mawa.
