Knobelsdorff Building, Potsdam

Representative luminaries for the Knobelsdorff Hall reception room in the Brandenburg Interior Ministry.
The round lamps are constructed of curved and welded flat aluminum elements, and are hung using an unobtrusive 3-part wire-cable suspension. The inner and outer circumferential surfaces are faced with stainless steel strips, which also hide the cabling.

The satin finish of the 140 mm ø hanging glass cylinders hide the 9 stainless steel E27-sockets.

  • Aluminum/ Stainless steel ceiling lamp, canopy in anodized silver, 9x E27-socket (in stainless steel)

Architect

  • Gerald Krüger, SEHW Architecture
