Welding at Mawa Design is done with MIG and MAG techniques.
MIG stands for metal-inert gas welding. No active gas is used, only an inert gas (generally argon, but also helium) is applied. This technique keeps atmospheric oxygen away from the weld seam.
Metal-aktive gas welding (MAG) uses either pure carbon dioxide or a mix of carbon dioxide, argon, and oxygen in order to effect the particular technological requirements of the weld joint.
