Zeppelin University Friedrichshafen

glaskugelleuchten in perfect harmony with architecture

Zeppelin University in Friedrichshafen was founded in 2003. It is a private university that sees itself as a pioneer university.

On the new main campus, large-scale exterior and interior glazing allows views of the surrounding nature. This creates the impression of spatial expanse in this former barracks courtyard.

This building complex includes all functional elements of the university: rooms for lectures and administration, library, refectory and auditorium, a space for art exhibitions as well as various open spaces.

The lighting concept is based on simplicity. The ceiling luminaires follow the geometry of the building. As a sober, restrained contrast, as-if architects opted for the glaskugelleuchten LED from mawa.
