The one piece series is crafted from a single piece of aluminum using mawa’s folding technique. With the op8-ud, it gains a powerful new member that extends the characteristic uplight technology with an integrated downlight. The result is a bidirectional lighting effect: powerful, even ceiling illumination combined with precise general lighting directed downward. Whether in corridors, foyers, or representative spaces, the op8-ud creates a defining lighting atmosphere with high efficiency and minimal glare.

The borosilicate glass cover produces a soft light gradient, while the high-performance LEDs deliver a brilliant light image that reaches deep into the room. Various covers (diffuse or prismatic) are available for the downlight straight from the factory – enabling either a homogeneous, soft effect or optimized glare control.
