Replacement of LED and ECG (Electronic Control Gear) after the warranty expires

Luminaires from mawa meet the highest technical and design standards. However, as good looks are not everything, the sustainability of our products is also very important to us. In order to guarantee the optimum longevity of our lights and save resources, we offer the option of replacing LEDs and control gear directly on site for many of our lights once the warranty has expired.

What do the symbols on my packaging mean

Depending on the luminaire design, both LEDs and ECGs can be replaced in many luminaires. These symbols on the packaging and in the installation instructions for your luminaire show you which options are available.

Nicht austauschbar
Die Lichtquelle dieser Leuchte ist nicht austauschbar. Wenn die Lichtquelle das Ende ihrer Lebensdauer erreicht, muss die gesamte Leuchte ersetzt werden.
Austauschbar im Werk (mawa)
Die Lichtquelle dieser Leuchte darf nur durch den Hersteller im Werk ausgetauscht werden.
Austauschbar vor Ort (Profi)
Die Lichtquelle dieser Leuchte darf nur durch den Hersteller, seinen Kundendienst oder eine ähnlich qualifizierte Person ausgetauscht werden
Werkzeugfrei austauschbar (Endkunde)
Die Lichtquelle dieser Leuchte kann vom Kunden selbst ohne Werkezuge ausgetauscht werden.
