Flexible light for working with track spotlights

Vibrancy, team spirit and open-mindedness are the cultural qualities at the Carmeq company, founded in 2002. The core business of the company is software design and development for automotive electronics. Daily, employees dedicate themselves to topics of the future within the automotive industry, including e-mobility, automated driving systems and connected cars.

The spacious Innovation Center, designed by ACTINCOMMON, has enriched the Berlin location on Carnot Street since opening in 2018. The new comfort zone offers the perfect atmosphere for creative exchange. Wood surface finishes and color create a feeling of contentment and warmth. Flexible furniture and presentation surfaces allow the room layout to be altered as needed. Large window surfaces create wide-ranging views and invite daylight inside.

Following the design requirements for this room, the lighting is also flexible, implemented by means of a multi-functional track system. The track spotlights of the seventies system are portable and ensure high-quality light in all areas–from walls and shelving to reading or working stations.
