Reading and workplace lamps for the Jacob-and-Wilhelm-Grimm-Center
Near museum island, the Swiss architect Max Dudler built the Grimm Center Library as an interpretation of the bookcase. The extraordinary interior architecture, with its central reading hall organized in terraces is illuminated by 850 »gz 1« reading lamps.
Special features
Together, Max Dudler and mawa design engineers developed a reading lamp with a top surface of translucent natural stone. In combination with an asymmetric reflector design, not only is the reading surface optimally illuminated, but the architecture is elegantly accentuated as well.
Naturally for mawa design, manufacturing is according to all applicable norms and our production is regularly certified by TÜV Rheinland. Quality made in Brandenburg.
