Church of St. Petri Chapel Brandenburg an der Havel

Crown lights in the play of light and shadow

Next to the Cathedral, St. Petri Chapel is the second church building on the Dominsel in the city of Brandenburg. The distinctive cellular vaults, especially, seldom found in northern Germany, make St. Petri Chapel one of the most beautiful church interiors in the entire Federal State of Brandenburg.

For the nearly forgotten chapel spaces, mawa planned, constructed, and mounted 2 ring-chandeliers, each with 12 »wittenberg« spot-head light sources.
Covers on top prevent the introduction of dirt and dust, as well as visual access to the technical elements, from the gallery level. Additionally, surface-mounted spotlights from the »wittenberg« series are installed in the cross vaults.

mawa’s fernglas (binoculars), play light and shadow across the ceiling, eminating a pleasant light throughout.
