Showcase lighting in socialist cultural palace

mawa is the perfect contact for museum lighting – for large-scale projects as well. Thus, in 2017, large parts of the Central Asian National Museum, over 5000 km away, were installed with professional lighting technology from the house of mawa.

The numbers speak for themselves: To illuminate the nearly 10,000 qm exhibition areas distributed over 5 floors, mawa delivered 2.6 km of power rails and more than 1200 spotlights from the seventies series.

Staged items included excavated objects, every-day utensils, and hand-crafted products such as rugs, jewelry, and musical instruments. They illustrate the national culture and history and provide insights into the nomadic lifestyle of the silk road at that time.
