The corridor as linear space: for artist Michael Just from Berlin, the corridor represents acceleration and time. Both form the basis of his work »Circularity Conditions: There might have been Light« from 2016. The work extends the length of an 80 meter long corridor in the head office of the Peppermint Group located in Neuen Kranzler Eck on Ku´damm in Berlin.
mawa illuminates the complete interior infrastructure with twin-lamp, recessed ceiling spotlights from the wittenberg series. Wide beam characteristics emphasize the artwork along the walls. Shadows created behind the laser-cut, steel letters strengthen the three-dimensional effect of the installation.
For the company founder, Ingeborg Neumann, art is, in many ways, a particular focus. Among other things, she values turning functional space within the profit-oriented company into uninhibited thinking space. It’s all about inspiration and perspectives: not solutions at the press of a button, but more so, as creative process.
The 14th floor, with its facade-oriented workstations and meeting rooms, offers a sweeping view high above the capital and its dynamics. mawa’s minimalist fbl track spotlights on the ceilings pick up on the horizontal lines. The lighting complements the daylight and transmits it unobtrusively and unobtrusively to the conference tables.
